This exemplary collection of English Porcelain was acquired by Philip G. Harman over a span of 4 decades.  An avid collector, who conducted his own research on each acquisition.  He had an eye for beautiful, unusual and rare items from many factories.  Here we present his collection of Derby, Chelsea, Bow and Isleworth .....

Philip G. Harman was the son of a pawnbroker, jeweller and general dealer who collected interesting items from childhood, turning his collecting passion to porcelain in the early 1970's.  From going to the London antiques fairs a couple of times a year, he began to visit the NEC and specific antique shops in the Home Counties and in London.  As his knowledge increased, he traded items that he had already purchased for others - always striving to collect pieces in as near perfect condition as possible.  I hope that you will enjoy adding them to your collection as much as he did.
