A fine, unmarked Derby plate, c1810, with superb large study of fruit, which fills the well of the plate, by renowned Derby artist, Thomas Steele.

No factory marks or gilder's numbers.

Condition: Some wear to the enamels of the grape to the base of the arrangement. Loss of gilding around the rim and some crazing and staining. Small fleabite chip and faint hairline to underside of rim, which does not show through.
