A superb Derby deep plate with central hand painted landscape of "In Spain" by Derby artist, Robert Brewer.

Worthy of note also, is the very fine gilt work around the rim, featuring pairs of sphinx, each surrounded by tiny gilt dots between the elegant scrolls.

Factory mark in red, and gilder's number 38 at footrim. Excellent condition.
