An excellent Derby plate, dating to c1800 with a landscape of the highest quality, entitled "A Seat in Ireland" by artist, John Brewer.

A superb, very detailed landscape and, as is the rest of the plate, in excellent condition. This is Plate Pattern 56 from the Derby Pattern Books.

The landscape is edged with a turquoise border within gilt bands and with further pendant gilding. This design is echoed around the rim.

Factory mark and description is in black. Gilder's number 39 in red.
