A lovely Swansea large teacup and saucer in a rare pattern, decorated with attractive net gilding and beautiful hand painted pink roses and blue campanula by renowned artist and porcelain producer, William Billingsley.
The pair have unfortunately suffered some damage in the distant past but, as can be seen from my photos, they can be displayed so that this is not visible.  There is some wear to the enamels and gilding on the saucer.
These have been in my own collection for many years, and carry my collection label to the base of the saucer.  It is also marked with the "Swansea" mark in red capitals.
