A Bow plate, dating from c1755,  decorated in polychrome enamels with a scarce pattern of a Chinese figure in a landscape.
Two octagonal plates painted in this rare design were in the Frank Tilley Collection, sold at Sotheby's London, November 24, 1938, lots 72, and subsequently sold in the same rooms, January 28, 1964, lot 223. One of the plates was later sold at Sotheby's London, April 3, 1973, lot 157.
No factory markings.  The plate is in very good condition, with only a few tiny fleabite chips at the rim to be mentioned.
