A very fine Derby porcelain plate, Duke of Newcastle type, (Plate Pattern 80 in the Derby Pattern Books). Decorated with three superb flower bouquets, featuring roses, campanula and auriculas together with central sprig, hand painted by William Billingsley, c1785.
