Superb Derby cup and saucer dating c1790, from the J. A. Robinson Collection, with top quality hand painted landscapes by John Brewer.  The cup with shipping scene of "Southampton, Hampshire" and the saucer with "Wenlock Abbey, Shropshire."
Crown, crossed batons, dots and D in blue.  Named scenes in blue.  No gilders numbers.
The cup has a little loss of gilding around the rim, and loss of gilding to the cup handle.  Saucer has some loss of gilt around the rim and a small chip to the enamels of "Wenlock Abbey." No hairlines, crazing or restoration.
