A fine Chelsea gold anchor scallop edged plate, decorated around the rim with exotic birds in landscapes and featuring a central arrangement of flowers, fruit and a charming small mushroom.  Small green sprigs are scattered across the well.
The plate has attractive ribbed moulding between each bird study and has gilded c-scrolls around the rim.
Marked with a gold anchor.  Stilt marks and ground foot rim.  
Very good condition.  A little kiln dust to the underside and a small firing fault at "9 o'clock" at the rim.  Some loss of gilding around the rim.
