A superb Chelsea plate, dating to c1765, finely decorated with a central urn festooned with roses and surrounded by delicately painted butterflies and moths.  A green husk garland hangs from gilt florets, which are tooled and burnished.   There is further decoration to the underside of sprays of green flowers and leaves.  
No factory markings.  Very good condition.
