A beautiful Chelsea plate from the gold anchor period.  Decorated with swags of green husks, hanging from gilded and tooled florets.  There is an urn to the centre, decorated with roses, and charming, delicate butterflies and moths scattered across the well of the plate.
The underside is also decorated with sprays of green flowers.
Marked with a gold anchor.  Ground foot rim.  Excellent condition, other than two firing flaws to the foot rim, which do not show through on the upper side.
