A superb Chelsea Derby plate with fluted rim, skillfully hand painted with studies of fruit.  Dates to c1775.
The rim is decorated with dentil gilding, along with a gilt band, which sets off the fruit decoration perfectly.  
Marked with conjoined anchor and D in gold to the reverse and in excellent condition.
