An early Bow flat bottomed sauceboat of leaf form, painted in the blue and white Chinese scene of the "Desirable Residence" and dating to c1752-55.  Foliate moulding to the spout, and Buddhist motifs to inside base.  Diaper border.
Flat, unglazed base.  No factory markings.  There has been a repair to rim, otherwise very good condition.
