A fine Bow blanc de chine trio, comprising petal edged tea bowl, saucer and straight-sided coffee can, all with moulded prunus decoration, dating to c1755. The coffee can with plain loop handle.
Condition:
Coffee can: very small spot of brown discolouration at the rim, but otherwise excellent.
Saucer: Has a 0.75 inch hairline at rim, plus a firing crack, also at rim, but not too noticeable as it runs through the prunus moulding. There is a second firing fault within the prunus decoration, which does not go through to the underside.
Tea bowl: several chips at rim, along with associated hairline of approx 1.5 inches.
All three unmarked.
